• Account information: Email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
• Resume content: Job experience, education, skills, and other career information you enter into the form.
• Payment information: Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number — Stripe handles all payment data securely.
• Usage data: Number of resumes generated, plan type, and account activity logs.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically via server logs.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service (generate your resume, cover letter, and ATS score).
• To manage your account and subscription.
• To process payments and send receipts via Stripe.
• To send important service updates (no marketing emails without consent).
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. AI Processing

The resume content you submit is sent to Groq's API (using Llama AI models) for processing. Groq processes your data to generate the AI output. We do not use your resume content to train AI models. Please review Groq's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (a US-based cloud provider). Your generated resumes are saved to your account and can be deleted at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Groq — for AI resume generation.
• Railway / Neon — for hosting and database services.
• Law enforcement if required by law.

7. Cookies

We use your browser's localStorage to store your login session token. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Export your resume data.
• Opt out of any marketing communications.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
